Jersey Electricity Wins Sustainability Award for New App

Jersey Electricity has won the Sustainability Award at the Jersey Tech Awards, for its’ mobile app for energy insights: MyJE, launched in partnership with Eliq

In front of a full Radisson Blu in Jersey, Werner Bornman, Jersey Electricity’s Director of Technology  mounted the stage with the company’s Operations Director Mark Preece to accept the Sustainability Award at the 4th annual Jersey Tech Awards.

Jersey Electricity won the award for its work with the mobile app MyJE, an app that in a short timeframe has been taken up by a large part of the Jersey community, helping them to reduce their consumption and CO2 emissions, by providing deep insights and advice on becoming more energy efficient.

Håkan Ludvigson, CEO of Eliq, who attended the event said “The award shows the recognition and impact that this initiative has had across Jersey, and how quickly a utility company can digitise its customer experience, by leveraging our platform

The award was presented by KPMG’s Arthur Mainja and the event’s host, comedian Lucy Porter.
