Eliq names first Head of Data Science to build out Vilnius office

Eliq has appointed Vaidas Armonas its first Head of Data Science. Vaidas most recent experience is with Genus AI, a company specializing in social advertising optimization, and has a previous background with motion intelligence company Sentiance and was among the first data scientists at Vinted, Lithuania’s vintage clothes marketplace app, valued at €3.5Bn in its most recent venture round.

While at Genus AI, Vaidas led a team of data scientists to deliver machine learning solutions for marketing optimization, to create deeply personalized targeting.

New office opened in Vilnius, Lithuania

Vaidas is also heading up the company’s new office in Vilnius, Lithuania, where the company is planning to build out a significant team across both development and operational functions over the next two years, with a couple roles for data scientists currently open, and more coming over the next 2 months.
